Many of you are watching the site closely for more information on the Model 52. We thought we would provide an update on the exciting things happening with our newest bender. You may notice that we have moved the estimated production date from December to January. When we got back from the shows and began testing, we found that we were correct on the bender's capabilities but we wanted more out of it. Where we knew the Model 52 could easily bend 2-1/2" OD .120" wall tubing, we wanted it to also bend the 2" OD .250" wall tubing, which our Model 32 is known for. We went back to the drawing board in a couple of areas and increased the capabilities of the Model 52. The changes needed included increasing the spindle size and increasing the size of the dowel pins. Also, we made the on-board memory storage better. Instead of saving one bend in memory, wouldn't it be cool to save up to 99? We thought so too. While these changes have pushed back our production time, but we feel everyone will be more than satisfied with the final product.
